Following the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010, we were all horrified to watch the spill spread and see the devastating environmental impact that followed. In response, I created this site in the hope that a positive outpouring of poetic responses would in some way provide a balance to the ecological carnage that was unfolding. All poems have been submitted by the sites readers.
